Javon, The 11-year-old "Future Floyd Mayweather," Gets Advice From Mike Tyson
When Steve Harvey saw a video of Javon in the ring, he knew he had to have him on STEVE. After showing off his speed and skills, Javon sat down to talk to a highly impressed Steve Harvey. “He’s nice. If you’re eleven and you’ve got that balance, those hands, that quickness, at eleven, you’re nice,” Steve Harvey tells his audience.
Javon has been boxing since the age of four, but he’s also a gymnast. After showcasing his gymnastic talents, Steve Harvey had a surprise for him: a video message from Mike Tyson, one of his favorite boxers. “You got a lot of skills, man,” Steve Harvey tells Javon, “You know the fortunate thing… you have a great father… your father takes time with you. Future Soccer Star, Ariana, Talks Her Inspiration And Gets The Ultimate Surprise
Little Big Shots star, Ariana, is a soccer prodigy. When asked by Steve Harvey, “You play with boys, too?” Ariana replies, “Yeah, but, I kick their butts a lot.” The audience went wild. “You better do somethin’ to them boys!” says Steve Harvey.
Ariana shares that she’s a huge fan of Brazilian soccer player, Neymar. Her love for Neymar is so great that she says, “Sometimes, I cry.” She even created a soccer move named after him, which she impressively shows off to the STEVE crowd. But nothing compares to Steve Harvey’s big surprise for her: a video message from Neymar and a signed jersey! Ariana’s reaction is completely heartwarming. We can’t wait to see her in the World Cup!
'Scooby', The 8-year-old Barber, Shows His Skill To The World
Quinelius ‘Scooby’ Jones learned how to barber from his dad, and this young man has an incredible gift. Steve Harvey asks, “What do you love about cutting hair?” Scooby responds, “I like when they… walk out the door, girls be droolin’ all over themselves. You feel me, Steve?” He’s smooth, too!
To show off his skills, Steve Harvey asked one of his producers to get his hair cut by Scooby. Before starting, Steve Harvey asks, “Have you ever messed somebody’s hair up before?” To which Scooby replies, “Now, do I look like I messed up somebody’s hair before?” Watch this sassy, young barber for yourself. Young Entrepreneurs, The Jr. Flips Kids, Talk Business and Giving Back
While on vacation in Los Angeles, these six youngsters ran into Oprah Winfrey and instead of getting a picture, they got advice. “She told us to give back, work hard, and never give up,” says eight-year-old Aliana. In just one year, Jr. Flips has flipped two homes and made a profit of over $250,000. From identifying properties, hiring contractors, and interior designing, these kids do it all. To make things even more impressive, Aliana shared that she is writing a book called 25 Businesses Kids Can Start for Under $500!
“We’re trying to inspire other kids to go out and try dreams that they, before, were scared to do,” nine-year-old Dominic tells Steve Harvey. Sidney, The 11-year-old CEO of Books N Bros, Has A Powerful Mission
Steve Harvey’s wife, Marjorie Harvey, brought eleven-year-old Sidney Keys III to his attention. Sidney is the CEO and founder of Books N Bros, a book club for young boys that celebrates African American children's books and literacy in the African American community. Steve Harvey had a special message for Sidney from the one and only Oprah Winfrey.
“First of all, to be eleven-years-old and starting your own Books N Bros book club, high five yourself… I just want you to know how proud I am of you… Keep doing it, because this I know for sure… it’s going to pay off,” Oprah tells the young Sidney Keys. But that isn’t all. Amazon is donating $11,000 to sponsor 50 kids with a one-year membership, as well as brand new Amazon Kindle E-readers for Sidney and his members. Books N Bros is about to make a huge mark on this world.
