2 pounds fresh green beans, trimmed
¼ cup olive oil
5 cloves garlic, peeled and thinly sliced
1 cup toasted, chopped walnuts
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add beans and cook for 8 to 10 minutes, drain and keep warm in a serving bowl. In a small pan, heat olive oil on low. Add garlic and toast slices until golden brown. Immediately pour over beans. Add walnuts and toss.
