Kaley, Keira, and Christian are a group of siblings who recently appeared on an episode of ABC’s “Shark Tank,” where they brought the entire panel to tears with their story. honored their father’s lifelong dream by pitching his “Cup Board Pro” invention on “Shark Tank.”
Their father, an NYC 9/11 firefighter, unfortunately, got sick and diagnosed with cancer and passed away a few years later. "My dad was more than just a firefighter, he was an author, he went to culinary school and he was a two-time champion on “Chopped.” He loved cooking and being in the kitchen. He first had the idea for the board when I was in High School, we were all very young. I actually remember traveling with my dad to cooking conventions when he first made the board. We traveled to Chicago together one year; it was so much fun." says Kaley.
The siblings later pitched the idea on ABC's "Shark Tank" to fulfill their father's dream. "He made an audition tape and sent it in and after his funeral, we received a letter from Shark Tank inviting him to the show, so we thought to honor him we would go for him and pitch his board. we were able to get a deal with not just 1 but all 5 of the sharks, which we heard hardly never happens. They gave us 100k for 20 percent. We couldn’t believe it."
